Lindsey Gentry

Lindsey Gentry ‘s academic credentials include a Juris Doctorate from the Syracuse University College of Law. She also has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire. Lindsey also has attended various military schools within the Army, including Military Police Basic Officer Leader Course, where she graduated first in her class. Lindsey is a Veteran, having served as a Platoon Leader and Executive Officer during Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2007 to 2009. 

Lindsey exited the Army in 2012 as a Captain.Upon exiting the Army, Lindsey bought a franchise, thus fulfilling her lifelong dream of independence and freedom through business ownership. Believing that franchising was the best way to enter the business world since she was interested in stepping into a model that would set her up for success and allow her to learn business fundamentals while being surrounded by a group of subject matter experts, Lindsey became the owner of the first Erbert & Gerbert’s Sandwich Shop in Texas. She currently owns that same location and has since added a unit at the Texas State University football stadium and at the Circuit of the Americas Formula 1 raceway in Austin, Texas . 

She is also owner and co-founder of her Texas based brand, Cheer & Chow, a specialty market and restaurant concept. Lindsey thorough enjoys the opportunity to provide franchise consultation services to budding entrepreneurs and spends a significant amount of time mentoring members of the military that are working toward a transition to the business world. 

As a franchise consultant, Lindsey believes that clients deserve the most thorough and honest guidance available. Finding the right franchise fit through a systematic, analytical approach and ensuring that clients are given the greatest opportunity for success drives Lindsey’s consulting practice. The qualities of duty, respect, and integrity, which were fundamental to Lindsey’s success as a military leader, are the same qualities that Lindsey carries with her into each and every client interaction. 

Lindsey lives in San Marcos, Texas, with her husband, Martin, and their son, Matthew. In her spare time, Lindsey enjoys running, reading, and pretty much anything so long as it involves her family. 

The same attention and care that Lindsey brought to the troops under her command, her team in her businesses and her family, she is now looking to bring to aspiring entrepreneurs.
